Destiny
Song writing will have to be the most important thing
to be noted for because you are measured for the songs you write and or perform on. People are drawn to your music and how you perform them live. It’s all about the music.
I like YouTube the best because fans can see your videos
and listen to your music all at once and that’s the best way people get a feel for you and your music. On my YouTube channel you will see all my videos hear my music and see pictures. I also have videos of cover songs and live acoustic videos of me just jamming, as well.
I am currently living in Toronto, Canada.
I am planning to start playing gigs and shows around the city so fans can expect to see that in the near future along with live TV appearances and performances. Look for my song Destiny to hit radio this summer, as I will be doing a radio campaign for that song, as well as shooting another music video for a songs called “I’m Sorry” that I have just finished recording. I am also working on my new web site and hope to have it completed by the end of the summer.
The song Destiny is about forging one’s own path in life,
believing in your dreams and living for your destiny. Don’t wait for life to give you a break, go out and make your own.
I have made a video for Destiny and it’s currently up on YouTube.
The video is about me driving around town in a 1958 Buick Special, a vintage car for an old fashion dreams. As I appreciate my life and the world that surrounds me, I embrace the faith and drive toward my Destiny.
Three things new fans should now about me are,
I am very passionate about my music, how I write my songs and that underneath all the music and lyrics there is a sense of hope. Hope for a positive outcome. Second, I love shooting music videos; my goal is to shoot a video for every song I record. I really love performing live in front of an audience no matter how small or how large the crowd.
I either wake up that morning feeling creative or I do not, it’s that simple.
I really can’t explain how ideas come to me, it’s a feeling I get and when the time feels right music is born, songs are made lyrics are created. I may dance around a chord progression a riff or lyric a few times before a song is born and when it comes together, it’s always a great feeling, I either write songs on my piano or my acoustic guitar.
I take life day by day. When I’m writing or playing shows or gigging,
I am always focused and dedicated to my work. When I’m with my family I’m in the moment and I enjoy the time I have with friends and family. This is how I balance life and music.
I really don’t have any one specific platform I endorse.
However, there are many things I believe in like, Make a Wish foundation, Cancer Research, ending word hunger. I have written a song called “Make a Wish” for the Make a Wish Foundation, I hope one day I can make the connection and get my song to be associated with the foundation.
1. Never stop practicing your instrument. This includes vocalists.
2. Learn as much as you can about the music business.
3. If you’re a song writer, keep writing songs and listen to other artist.
If I could do one thing different from the start,
it would have to be, record every idea and song. You always learn from your recordings, like arrangements, structures, what keys work best for a vocalist etc. Even if you never end up using a song you record, you will always learn from that session and it will help you for future songs you write and record.
