Interview by Jacqueline Jax
host of A.V.A Live Radio
to me is doing better than what you did yesterday. It’s not about setting goals that aren’t reachable over night. You don’t have to be on mtv. That’s not realistic as you start to pursue music. And the way things are, MTV may not even be the best goal. The most important thing is to make sure that you surround yourself with positive people who’s goals are in alignment with your own. You don’t need unnecessary distractions so making sure that the people around you are reaching forward is a key to boosting yourself. All that positive energy and vibe to succeed will help lift you up instead of knocking you down.
The best piece of music advice I’ve ever received…
the people around me really pushed me. They have encouraged this new style out of me plus the radio had a big part. I feel like with what I’m doing, things could be better so that passion to try and change hip hop for the best offers value to my life. It’s really what has changed my way of thinking. Now this is my mission. To make a difference in both my life and others.
I live in… colonial beach small little town in the middle of nowhere. It’s peaceful but I’m from prince william county and used to a lot of go go. Basically everything that has a party type feel to it.
My music is…
really different , I talk about everyday life or feelings you know people with mixed emotions I just like to think outside the box when I do music.
