Live Interview  Episode #409: A.V.A Live Radio Behind The Music with Jacqueline Jax :

by Jacqueline Jax host of A.V.A Live Radio

It’s been really important to have talented arrangers and a really solid team of energy around the music. We have a great time working together and all have such a passion for the music.

Music business…
has not changed in 30 years. Salsa music in the US has really taken a back seat, but with our new invigorating sounds we have started igniting crowds with our sound.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with….
Marc Anthony; he’s passionate about what he does and love his music. He inspires me to continue with the Salsa music.

Salsa Brava…
is our title song to our second album. We are what’s considered “Old School Salsa band” which basically means the Salsa beats and rhythms from the 1970’s. Our music is original and invigorating. This song was written by Marcus Hernandez to showcase what Orchestra Fuego is all about.

Our music is intoxicating and very fresh; our songs all mostly original compositions. Our band members have an amazing passion for what we are doing and it shows when we perform live.

Tampa, Florida…
We live in the Land O Lakes area near Tampa, Florida. Music scene in my town is basically soft rock. We have introduced Latin music to our area with sizzling Salsa, Merengue, Cha-Cha, and bachata tunes. We perform all over the Tampa, Ocala, Orlando and Gainesville areas.
