Music business…
I feel like the music industry has really changed since when I was growing up… It’s a lot harder for people to get deals and actually make it this day in age. However, there are a lot more opportunities for Indie artists to get exposure today.
Pros and cons…
I have experienced some amazing gigs, interviews, magazine spreads, meet and greets, etc… but I have also been in contact with scam artists who promise you the world just to get your money in their pockets.
Hurdles and pitfalls…
My mom and I have become a lot wiser and more educated in this music industry since I have been doing it for years now. We have a great team of people who guide and protect me and my music so we don’t run into any other hurdles.
Social media…
I love social media because it’s a great tool for producers, A&R people and managers to see and hear my music and because of social media I have been able to get my name out there a lot more.
I started singing when I was 7 years old…
on my front porch with my older sister belting out Lauryn Hill. I continued singing in my church choir for years, then I went on to High School where I became a vocal major. When I went off to college, I realized the only career I wanted to devote myself to was my music so I have been a professional recording artist ever since!
Weightless…
I wrote this song about what it feels like to fall in love. People love “love” and I wrote this because I think a lot of people can relate and appreciate it’s meaning . The idea for “Weightless” came to me when I was on a plane on my way home from Miami. I finally have found the music genre that really makes my heart skip a beat and one that I love to write to and perform to. My music is a fun pop/dance/EDM feel that will keep the crowd moving!
I am from Staten Island, New York…
There isn’t much of a music scene here which is why I have branched out to Manhattan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. I love to Geocache with my friends.. If you haven’t heard about it you HAVE to look into it. It’s basically a treasure hunt that people made around the world you are given clues where and how to find the Geo’s and once you find it you log your name and leave something in the box for the next person to find/trade.

Colbie Caillat! I absolutely adore her and everything she does. She is so humble and doesn’t need a huge stage display to impress her fans. She is simple and honest and I really admire her being an artist and an amazing songwriter.
Do you find that there is to much emphasis on being current and trendy…
I don’t really feel like there is too much emphasis on being current or “trendy”. I have many different styles and sides to me and I would never conform with the rest of the world. I prefer to stand out 🙂
I am most afraid of… failure.
My personal definition of success is..
One of my greatest successes was making it on the 2015 Billboard Dance charts for 8 weeks. It’s not so easy to break into the dance charts being an Indie artist. I knew my song “Weightless” had a lot of potential and could compete with the other hit music in the world today. I made it onto the Billboard charts thanks to Frank Ceralo and all of the amazing DJs that supported and remixed “Weightless”. These are all the DJs /producers who were so gracious with their time and talents that drove “WEIGHTLESS” up the chart and kept it there for 8 weeks.

My goal for life is to be happy and for my career I would love to write songs for other artists and create music that is timeless.

1) Doing things out of my comfort zone.
