Money can only be so fulfilling…
It’s a dream many chase but it’s often a false ideal that will never love you back. Such displaced affection can waste many years of ones life. For Sarantos, the fact that his email list has grown from 4,000 last December to almost 16,000 as of this November is unbelievable. The fact that so many fans have opted in and want to receive an email from him every month is pretty darn cool. Fans have trusted Sarantos and he will do everything he can to make his email something the vast majority of the fans continue to open every month.

Despite the momentum and continued traction, Sarantos still has not turned a profit since he gives away all his songs, videos and books for free and everything costs money to make. That said, Sarantos decided to donate $2,000 anyway to the various charities that he has named for the songs released so far. It’s not much but every little bit counts. Sarantos hopes that this number will continue to increase as the journey continues.

As per the routine Sarantos has established, the 2nd CD “Close Your Eyes” with 11 original songs will drop on November 17th, 2015. Since fans have grown to expect surprises, Sarantos is proud to announce yet another one. On November 27th (Black Friday) a special CD called “Best Solo Instrumentals – Vol. 1” will be released. And let’s not forget the 2nd book which parallels the songs on the album and is the 2nd book of this fiction/fantasy trilogy.

All of these can also be ordered direct from the website as an exclusive limited edition autographed copy. Purchasing there will automatically sign you up for a free raffle with a lot of fan extras like a chance to have dinner with Sarantos. http://www.melogia.com/

The Veteran
The song is about all the veterans who might not get any recognition but they are a critical part of our country. We would not have the freedom we do without them. I tried to put myself in a veteran’s position and think about what emotions they would be feeling. Would they feel under-appreciated? Lied to? Not recognized like they should?

During the music video, it really hit home what they have done for us. Despite what our specific feelings are about our country, the military or war, there should be no question that we should at least respect any veterans decision to serve their country. They also serve us, whether we realize it or not.

Having undergone several personal challenges with Sarantos’ father passing away four years ago after a long hard-fought battle with lung cancer, dealing with personal health issues like asthma and allergies which affected his singing style, going thru life’s ups & downs, the timing was finally right. And so it began. Sarantos main motivation remains, however, to raise money for charity.

33% of any music related sales are going straight to charity!

Sarantos has always been inclined to help people in need and is proud to launch his music as a way to donate a portion of proceeds to charity, hopefully inspiring other artists to do the same. Just a few of the charities chosen so far include American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, Make-a-Wish Foundation, American Heart Association, St Jude’s, Hellenic Academy, ASERF, American Red Cross, Salvaton Army, Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Chicago Medical School, Thanioton Society & the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
