The music business is very divided to me right now many people
are trying to get into it while many people are trying to keep people out is what I feel. I would love 5 minutes alone with Kanye or Childish Gambino, because I feel they have the formulas for a complete artist and not just rapper.
I wrote ‘Years and Days’,
because I was feeling like I’ve been waiting a long time for this music career to startup hence years and days. Also, the hook on this song is one of my favorite hooks I’ve ever done.
Years & Days
I recorded it in my room at my aunt’s home with an AKG mic, iO2 interface, and Audacity.
My next projects will be “Project4: WatchingTheWorldEnd” and “NotFromKali”
Project 4 will have a mixtape feeling where I will drop it on all music platforms where Not From Kali I aim to have more of an album feeling and push it through Apple Music and Spotify. I feel these two projects will be the real Teikali while my older songs were just the development adding up to this moment. We can expect hits and good music to carry us for the next couple of years.
I live out in Wyandanch/Wheatley Heights New York
and the music scene is very online not too many opportunities musically. Also when there is an opportunity they are overflowed with an artist. I always say its a small town with big dreams.
