LushGod Takes Snapchat to the Hiphop Music Scene

The corner stone of my marketing to driving the video views was making a video that was relatable to people on social media. That helped drive the views and I worked really hard to get it out there. I was told that you can’t always create with only your feelings or tastes In mind. You always have to cater to the consumer. But at the same time be yourself.

Social media..
gives indie artists the power to promote without a label. Snap chat is my favorite because you can get on there and do goofy things and it deletes.

75,000 Video…
The corner stone of my marketing to driving the video views was making a video that was relatable to people on social media. That helped drive the views and I worked really hard to get it out there. Thanks to Jacqueline Jax and A.V.A Live Radio for their amazing support on this video and all of my amazing team from the video producer to my management.

How do you stay focused and balance creating with life..
I have a really great team and an amazing family who are my support system in this business. The goal right now is to build a solid core fans base.

What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking?
I was told that you can’t always create with only your feelings or tastes In mind. You always have to cater to the consumer. But at the same time be yourself.

Creating music..
It’s very organic. I don’t write anything down.. it’s my way of forcing myself to stick to emotions I feel from the music.

I live in…
South Florida. The music scene here is big! I just wish more people supported the home team, there’s a lot of talent here.

Song name: We snappin’
Music Genre:: Hip Hop/RnB

This song is about…
just a fun song. It’s about being on Snapchat for your birthday.

My music is…
more about life experience than anything… the ups and downs… love and sex and breakups. Pretty much things that I’ve been through or have witnessed 1st hand.

How do you think this release represents your current direction..
It’s fun! I like to have fun, and I believe everyone likes to have fun as well. Though my music can take a darker turn it’s usually fun sonically.
