GETTING TO KNOW ONE BLOODY REASON

Every breath we take is a success….
The world is dangerous and cruel sometimes. You know what I mean? We need to remember that the things we have, and the opportunities we’re presented, are incomprehensible to half the population of the Earth. Having this ability to reach people anywhere is pretty amazing. When our music helps anyone, anywhere, that’s all we were trying to do. Now it’s about the continued focus on our mission to help everybody rock out a bit harder. The harder they rock, the better we’ve done.
What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking?
Lemmy Kilmister once said …
“Don’t wanna be a rock star” “Be one!” You don’t argue with Lemmy so that’s where we’re at with that. Nuff said?
Song name: Walk
Music Genre:: Rock
Walk is about walking…
Not the exercise kind though. More like a trip through hell, if hell had sidewalks and lamp poles. Like the bridge to the chorus says; (sings softly). “Take me to the graveyard and dig my hole. Take me to the temple, try to save my soul. I gotta fight back for my self esteem. So pull the knife from my back ’cause I’m a jammed machine. Well, I, never seem to find my way. I, always seem to walk away…” So in a way it’s about getting healthy. Wearing out soles of shoes to heal the soul of the person wearing the shoes, if that makes any sense. We can’t really afford therapy so we walk it off instead. Walk!
My music is…
Our music is meant as an inspiration to everyone. Some of our songs are just upbeat and fun. No doubt about that. But others get pretty serious and the lyrics come from darker places. It’s all meant to help people cope with life by giving them something they can relate to.
I live in…
We live just outside of Seattle. The music scene here is incredible. From Portland to Tacoma up to Everett and Bellingham, there’s no more diverse scene anywhere besides Western Washington. Americana, Country, Funk, Hip-Hop, Punk, Metal, and some of the most amazing tribute bands in the whole world. If it wasn’t the most expensive place in the universe to live, I would tell everyone to move here. Don’t move here unless you make 6 figures and work somewhere that rhymes with Anyone, Poodle, or, I can’t think of anything that rhymes with Microsoft. I’m being sarcastic of course but at the same time it’s funny because it’s true.
