Lucidity is our debut EP….
We as a band and I personally have never released music before and we wanted it to really personify us as a sound and as artists. We tied in some elements of our influences but at the same time we wanted each song to have its own characteristic and to have something that set it apart from each other.

Our Debut EP took 6 remixes to finally land on a sound that we were happy with but it’s worth it just to get it right. I haven’t been song writing for long but I originally learned in school and developed a love of it. I typically start with a guitar riff and go from there.

The band still has another 8+ songs to record. I think the challenge will be to define our sound in the balance of our music from here on out.

New York…
We are based out of Long Island NY, thats where we all met in college and started playing shows together. The music scene in Long Island is definitely an interesting one. Theres a lot of talent there and it all varies from Metal, Alternative, Punk, Indie/Folk.

I feel that the music business…
has grown so much in the past 50 years or so that it can sometimes be tough to get your foot in the door and try and get your songs noticed. But online streaming has greatly benefited independent musicians and artists to communicate with their fans and each other and try to bring what they have to the world.

Song : Toys in the Attic
Music Genre : Rock
Toys in the Attic is about looking at ourselves wether its personally, socially, or in any circumstance and realizing that as a whole we are one people. We are all the same and we cant let fear or pressure from power dictate our behavior or let it divide us against each other.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with…
Chris Cornell. Honestly his unfortunate passing really hit me hard. He is my biggest influence and I wish i had the honor of meeting him and getting to know and maybe understand a little bit about what inspired the person who inspired me so much to become a songwriter.
