California…
As for my neighborhood in the Eastbay of the Bay area, music has a music scene in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose, Places such as Yoshis, Slims333, The Fox Theater, Club Fox are the bigger concert scenes, and Festivals has been the larger outlet for most Groups. Many cover bands dominate the night Clubs, but original music is the toughest market to break into over her because there are not many outlets or Acts whom make it far.

The music business…
has changed for the better. I have learned it is better to go independent, and that signing with a record label is truly a thing of the past because of the Social Media Outlets available. People relate to you much better. The reason that I am here at this stage after all of these years is mostly in part that, the original music scene in the Bay Area just does not exist as I thought that it would. For the Indie, budgets are not the easiest to come by so it takes time to get through the barriers.

Inspiration…
I think if I had an opportunity to talk with someone about my goals, and ambitions it would have been my mother, raising 8 children, her wisdom taught me how to be patient, slow down so I can make good decisions, she inspired me because of the power she possessed. I remember as a child growing up she always said; “be careful what you ask for because you may get it, and nine times out of ten you do! ” I have always liked those odds.

Time After Time…
is about how we go to work everyday, and find ourselves locked into a system coping with living pay check to pay check, talking to heaven to deal with it. How we go through life in such a hurry forgetting what’s important in our lives such as family. The meaning is going through the stress and strains of life and never having time to live life the way it should have been lived. Praying day after day that maybe somehow some way things would change for the better. My son Rudy Jr. one day said; “Hey Dad check out this beat I got! I loved it, wrote the lyrics, and rest is history.

The CD Entitled Latin Trance was based on stories from what I see and feel in the world and in music. As a songwriter, I have always said, “if you know my music, you know me”, this has been the outlet to express myself. The significance In my writing? I not only think I am writing my story but other peoples stories as well, from trials and tribulations I send the message of Dance, Relationships and emotional feelings throughout the CD.
