The music business is one that I have learned a lot
about and realize that every opinion is just that, an opinion. No song is going to be enjoyed by everyone so you need to make music that means something to you and bring the emotion and passion out when you are singing it to touch the audience. Accept critics but don’t let it dash your hopes @_AliciaCarol

I have met some amazing people in the music business
and worked with some amazing people so far and that is a pro that I will never forget. My music has touched people at every live show and that means the world to me.

As for the cons has been the fact that I am a people person
and having to accept that not everyone is going to be a “fan” of my work was tuff. The other con has been people that have taken advantage of me by making a lot of promises but have not delivered on those promises.

Life is a constant struggle and music fits into that as well.
You have to keep your head up and a positive attitude about life and your music otherwise you will lose the will to continue.

Ronnie Mislap – because he was so influential in me even beginning to sing as a little girl

I have been singing since childhood in pageants and churches.
When I was younger I went on tour with The Laborers, a gospel group, over a 2-year period. I than got married and my ex-husband wouldn’t let me do music so I took a break. Trying to get back into music.

Stay At Home Mom

It has always been my dream to be a “Stay At Home Mom”
for my children but due to my life and work schedule it has been a dream that hasn’t even come close to a reality. In fact, I have missed more activities of my children having to stay at the beauty shop into all hours of the night than I have been home for my children.

My music I hope will help people and reach someone.
One of my other songs, “Never Enough” is about giving a man your soul, heart, and mind and it is never enough for them. Every time I sing that song I tell people that if you know someone in a mental, emotional or abusive relationship to reach out and help them. My first full-length album I hope will have music that touches people and music that is just fun.

I live in Medina, TN.
The music scene here is basically bars or chain restaurants that have live music. It is about an hour and a half from Memphis, TN and about two hours from Nashville, TN.

If you want a place to go here than you head to Memphis or Nashville.
