My personal definition of success is..
achieving your goals and ending up happy in the end. One of my success stories is how I slowly got over my stage fright and I considered this a great success because I always had stage fright but I just kept putting myself out there and eventually overcame the fear.

My over all goal for my life & career is…
To find a career in music and arts because it is what makes me truly happy in life.

3 Ways that I challenge myself and how each one moves me forward towards my goal.
1)I try to keep on top of my time management skills because in the end that is a super important aspect of being successful.

2)I sing everyday, it’s more of what makes me happy than a challenge but I try to stretch my range more and more. It seems to train my voice.

3)I try to stay enthusiastic as much as I can because without enthusiasm you don’t have motivation, and without motivation you’re probably not going to get much done.

Music business…
Its interesting, new and exciting.
A pro is getting to experience so many new fun things. A con is finding time for songwriting, recording, homework, and friends.

How are you over coming the hurdles and pitfalls…
I’m learning as I go and with every new experience it gives me knowledge on how to pick myself up and not let myself and others down again. It also helps that I have a few friends and family that are there for me.

Social media…
I like that all the positive energy and that anyone who wants to can find such amazing things through it.

Singles vs an album…
I find it interesting. It keeps people interested and continuing to listen rather than throwing a whole bunch of songs at them at once, I find its less intimidating and more relaxed and also attracts more listeners over time.
Talk about the differences in your marketing strategy to support your preference.

Inspired to sing…
Well I actually started singing before I could even talk. I started singing for masses in 5th grade Chorus. My family also inspired me and exposed me to all types of music at an early age and it’s just progressed from there. Just this year I was in guitar center (my second home haha) and saw an ad for a female singer and I went for it, so here I am today.

Shut My Eyes…
I started writing the song about my experiences, mainly about the feeling of walking into crowded rooms and the beginning feelings of nervousness or being judged by other people, to end up finding one person you can relate to or even end up loving.

I wrote it during nights in my kitchen and outside in my yard where I could be calm and for the recording it was my first time in a studio. I had a lot of fun.
Did anything sad or funny happen during the process. Something really funny was that my hair was windblown by a leaf blower while shooting the video outside and I had water poured on my head for a certain part of the song also haha.

You could expect a lot of meaning from my songs and the lyrics…
My goal is to share life experiences and to tell stories that show real feeling and that are quite relatable. I guess you could say I want to convey a message with every song. All together the album should be sad, happy, loving, everything to make an all together great story and experience. I’ll be marketing it so that anyone who is interested has the chance to listen.

I live in Fayetteville, Georgia…
near Atlanta and the music scene is more towards Atlanta where all the activity is, but when you can’t go too far the local guitar center is always fun. I love going the to The Masquerade, The Tabernacle, and Verizon Wireless Amphitheater for concerts, and otherwise anywhere but sitting at home is a great adventure for me haha. I also love to skateboard around town to go places.
Tell me about one fun thing you like to do that can be music or non-music related. I like to skateboard.

I am most afraid of…spiders.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with…
I would love to have 5 minutes alone with the band A Day To Remember because I’ve been listening to them since I was little and they brought me inspiration and happiness and my times of need.
