GETTING TO KNOW DUSTIN KNOWLES

I call myself PSYCHOFREAK some would say if the shoe fits wear it lol .
Music business…
So far I can only say that the music business is it’s own little world and once your in it your almost family to some but not all. I find more pros then cons so far just from the amount of people who have reached out to me shown support and love gave advice gave me a chance.
Over coming the hurdles and pitfalls…
Use them as strength to persevere and never give up.
Social media…
I like the versatility in the types of people one can connect with in social media. The difficulties are just the learning aspect of it all, I never got into computers as a kid not really at all till I was like 25 but I catch on quick. Other then that I just hate trolls but not a thing I can do about them lol .
Singles vs an album…
Well see that’s actually an easy question do to the fact I am so new all I have really done is release singles. I am still learning market strategies and other different ways to get my music out there.

This is another easy one hands down no doubt in my mind it would have to be Eminem. It’s simple a long time ago he released his song My Name Is and I have been a faithful fan ever since. He is undisputed one of the greatest rappers to pick up the mic.
Music Trends…
In a way yes I think trends and staying current are somewhat important as long as you make your music your own.
I am most afraid of… Failure
My personal definition of success is..
Success is hard to describe but I think it is when one finds happiness and acceptance from one self and other in something they have accomplished. I mean one can successfully build a snowman but it can obviously go much deeper then that. Sad as it may be there was a time I wanted to hurt myself. After a few years of self medicating I reached out for help dealt with the issues that needed dealing and moved on.
My over all goal for my life & career is…
I just wanna make a living off my music I don’t necessarily need to be rich. I also want to inspire others to follow there dreams.

There is a bit of a story there…
see I frequent a chat site called MFC and about a year in a half ago I started dabbling in rap. Well I was rapping along one day and one of the models JennyBlighe told me to record it. I thought to myself I am just playing around here what happens if I try and that’s how I got started.
MISSION…
Basically it is about not giving up and pushing yourself to accomplish your goals part of it was inspired by somethings my producer said to me ceasar @ourprosound.com
What u can expect from my music is reality no bs truth and storytelling. As for an album that’s still in the future I will be releasing singles as frequent as i can tho still just trying to spread my name. marketing I am developing some strategies and learning more always something new to learn and i am excited to do so.
