Nowadays, I feel that we have an advantage, because there are many online platforms to expose our music. Thereby, giving us the opportunity to promote and sell our own work without relying on a publisher. The pros to today’s music business, is having online resources for beginners in the music industry. The cons is that it’s very difficult to compete, and find dedicated and loyal fans who are interested in your music.

Starting the music…
I initially started writing poetry about 8 years ago, due to personal problems. In December of 2014, someone suggested that I consider writing songs instead of poetry. It was then that I decided to search online for song structures and that’s where it all began.

I feel that many people could relate to my song(s) and connect in some way. I live in Miami, Florida. As a songwriter, I don’t participate much in many music scenes in my town. However, all genres such as pop, rap, latin, house, etc. are diverse and equally enjoyed throughout the city.
If you like Latin music, Mango’s in Miami Beach and Blue Martini in Miami are great places to go to, as they play a combination of Latin and American music.
