My dream is…
to change the World by bringing my contribution. If I can make people happy, I will be the happiest man in the World. Looking at what is happening in our crazy World right now, I think people are not happy. I hope my song “I am still alive” will be played everywhere in the World without discrimination. We are all dreaming for a better World. That was the first time I was recording a Bluegrass song with funny lyrics.

Success comes from…
hard work, patience and luck. You can not succeed if you are ugly. My success today is to be seen and listened all over the World. That was not possible before. Thank you Internet. I am achieving everything by just being more creative everyday. Hard work is the key…

My over all goal for my life & career is…
I just want my music to reach the level of Michael Jackson as an artist and I want to keep making people happy everyday at my work. (Publix)

3 Ways that I challenge myself…
1)I work hard
2)I stay happy
3) Focus!

The craziest thing that has happened in my music career…
is when I met Foly Dirane host of the TV show “Délire” in Cameroon.I started as a dancer to become a later a songwriter and performer.

I am still alive…
is just about saying thanks to God everyday we wake up in the morning. It is a blessing to be alive. Everyday I wake up in the morning and I don’t find my name in the obituary, I feel blessed. It is better to be seen than to be viewed.
We should all be happy to be alive and in good health. We choose to be happy or we choose to be miserable. I am happy everyday no matter what. Smile and the World will smile back with you. https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/golden-boy-fospassin/id411751399?albumPage=2#albumPage

I wrote this song because I have noticed that a lot of people don’t appreciate life. We should all be thankful. About the recording, everything was done live. No beats over here, please. The song “I am still alive” won the Akademia Music Awards – Best Bluegrass song for December 2015 http://www.theakademia.com/december2015_bestsong_bluegrass7.html

I am from Cameroon…
and I live in Marietta,Ga USA. I work at Publix and my people call me “Patrick”. The music scene here is very different but I love going to Country music concerts on Fridays to watch Kurt Thomas Band and others at Dixie Tavern.

I love to tell jokes. I sometimes crack myself up.
I love to go on foot at least 17 miles a day on foot reason why I am still hot and sexy. Lol.
I also love being romantic that’s why some women call me “Mister Right”.

Music business…
What I think is that radio stations and televisions should be fair by giving the same chances to artist.
Thank you, Internet. Now we can compete with major artists.

Pros and cons…
I was a dancer of Jean Pierre Essomé and Nkodo Si Tony in Cameroon before being Golden boy (Fospassin) today.
Michael Jackson is the only artist I want identified myself to now. The World has lost an Icon. RIP Michael Jackson.

Hurdles and pitfalls…
Making myself happy is the key in everything I do. I am a hard worker and I don’t like to complain.

Social media…
is the new World. For me, it has changed everything. Without it, I would never appear in your interview. I got noticed from social media. Go Facebook! Go Twitter! Go Youtube! Go Itunes! Go AAmazon! Go Internet radio! Go Internet!

Challenges are everywhere…
When you speak English with an accent in this World it is a big challenge. I speak over 12 languages and I try everyday to understand others. Radio stations should play Golden Boy (Fospassin) because he is a great artist.

Singles vs an album…
A single is good for a starter and for radio promotion and the Album is great for streaming and CD sales. With over 700 songs recorded and released, I get more plays on Spotify and youtube better than an artist with a single album.
With the Internet, it is time to be prolific.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with…
Oprah. She is an inspiration. A great woman. The World knows what she has done.

Are you influenced by music trends…
I am just trying to be Golden Boy (Fospassin) the prolific songwriter for the 21st century.

I am most afraid of…
I am most afraid of unhappy people.
