The music business is very exciting at the moment;
it is really good to be able to connect with musicians from around the world.

I like the ability to do business with companies overseas
using the internet that is advantage. In times gone by, everything would have to be dealt with via post, phone or fax. Alas, there are too many companies that say they will submit your music for various opportunities; however, when you pay premium fees and submit to them nothing really significant happens.

I have always preferred to release albums,
because you can fit more tracks on an album. Although I will initially offer a free download to test the market.

Social media is an absolute necessity today.
I enjoy building a fan base and connecting with fans not just in the UK, but all over the world.

I like to keep an eye on current trends,
but I am in favor of creating something different and standing out from the crowd.

I am always inspired by sporting achievements
and people who achieve great things in life. This helps motivate me through the struggles.

I work for myself,
so I can live life on my own terms without having a boss telling me what to do.

Serena Williams – because she is an inspiration
not only to myself but other people. She has won many Grand Slam tennis titles and one tune on my album is dedicated to her, ‘Theme for Serena’. I hope one day she will hear the tune.

At the age of eight,
my parents and also a friend’s father encouraged me to learn to play the piano and a life long adventure in music began

‘By the Moonlight’

‘By the Moonlight’ is part of a romantic trilogy also including,
‘The Man Jazzin’ in the Moon’ and ‘Moonlight Goblins’ which is about finding the right connection with a person and sharing those special moments with them.

The ‘By the Moonlight’ main theme and title
of the album is a five instrument multi-track recording partly inspired by Mike Oldfield’s ‘Tubular Bells’.

For this album I wanted to do something different; for example,
it was a challenge to record the different instruments using keyboards and digital pianos. I played each instrument myself and mixed the tracks in my home recording studio – the aim is to hopefully have individual musicians do a live performance in the not too distant future.

I live in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
There are plenty of venues to visit to hear music both here in Lytham and not too far away the sea side holiday resort Blackpool.
