The music business…
I think it’s a tough industry to break into because it is very saturated. I think the strong willed and intelligent artists are the ones who are able to separate themselves from the pack. Unfortunately there are a lot of fake people looking to take your money but it’s on the artist to make sure they do their own research and be on top of everything.

I have been lucky to surround myself with alot of great people. We are all friends and we help each other with our projects. I think it’s important to learn to do things yourself and be very hands on in the process. From photography to production, I like to experiment and  be creative.

Hip hop seems to be coming back together. The artists are working together more in some areas and it’s not all about making violent music anymore. I think it’s important to work together and plan events to bring entertainment back to the local culture. It helps bring communities together.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with…
It would be with Andre 3000. He’s my favorite artist of all time so I would love to just learn some of things he knows musically and just get a chance to hear his experiences.

Glory…
Glory is a record I wrote that celebrates the space I’m in right now. I feel I’ve grown tremendously when it comes to my music and this record is really like a coming out party for me. Creating the song really came easy to me because I felt the beat really represented the energy I have right now. I’m very confident about my future and I believe you can hear it in the record.

The EP is…
called “The Book of Salomon” and is really a reflection of me. The people that know me know I’m very reserved so the music is really my way of letting people know who I am. It allows me to give off the energy that I give to people that know me the best to the world.
I was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Roselle, NJ …
so my area is pretty much just like the east coast music scene. There is a lot of talent in NJ right now. I can take you to a dope club and the chicken shack after the show. lol
