The music business I feel is strictly about the business.
The business of making money, regurgitating the same music but with different faces. I find a lot of musicians will chase the dream of being signed to a major label and overlooking the route of staying independent. I have sat with industry figures and they sold me the idea of being signed to them. But I would have had to change my look, my style and musical content. So, I decided against their offer. Yes, being independent does hurt financially but I’d rather invest my own money and be in control of the music I put out there than be the face and voice of something that I am not.

If I could spend 5 minutes with anyone
it would have to be Teddy Riley. As a child, I grew up listening to Blackstreet and his prior New Jack Swing movement. His music was the soundtrack to every car journey I had with my dad. His production was what inspired me to get into music but I soon realized that I cannot sing so I then pursued music production and then rapping.

H.E.R.

The song her details in brief my love life pre-dating the birth of my daughter.
It exposes some good times along with the bad experiences I have been through whilst dating.

My music is honest and from the heart.
My music reflects my life and tells my own story, covering subjects such as love, lust and heartbreak. I open up about the joys and pitfalls of fatherhood in exploring the relationship I have with my daughter and her mother. Also my music touches on my affair with marijuana as well as highlighting the everyday stresses that I come across. I am currently working on a new EP titled #MelodiesOfASweetBoy which will be available in Spring 2017. This EP will be my third solo project and unlike my previous EP’s it will contain a mix of new and old instrumentals, with me again telling my story. Together all of my EP’s are structured similar to a book, each EP representing a specific chapter in my life and it paints a picture of my thoughts and feelings of that time.

I am from Birmingham, England.
The music scene here at the moment is really thriving, with the likes of Lady Leshurr breaking through to the mainstream as well as recently winning a 2016 MOBO Award and gaining a lot of exposure in the U.S. Birmingham offers its musicians plenty of platforms to perform at various stage shows and open mic nights. The Birmingham music scene is a very tight knit community and the talent we have on offer here is truly amazing. And more importantly Birmingham really does support it’s music scene, we all support one another. No crabs in a barrel round here.
