GETTING TO KNOW NINA PAOLICELLI

Destined for music…
I knew I wanted to be in music from the very beginning. My mom tells me that ever since I was little I would memorize the lyrics of a song after only one time of hearing it.

Done and Over…
My song is about someone who had really just got on my last nerve. This song was actually really out of my comfort zone and I almost didn’t release it because it was really different from any songs I’ve ever written or recorded before.

For Fun…
When I’m in the mood for live music I like to go see my friends perform at places like Room 5 or when they are in a play at school. I can’t drive yet so I depend on the kindness of others when I want to go see the big shows at the Staples Center.

Social Media…
I really love how connected social media allows me to be so I can respond to the people that take a liking to my music. As for challenges, I have not had any so far but the only problem I can foresee in the future would be the struggle of keeping track of it all.

First Concert…
My first concert was a Kelly Clarkson concert even though I look at it as a warm up concert because I had no idea what was happening or why people were screaming. Later on I began to take a liking to Justin Bieber so I went to his concert and I finally understood why people get so excited. I had such a great time that I went to two more of his concerts after that.

Favorite Artists…
My favorite artist would be Sia for sure. I love her new songs and her old songs. I really admire her creativity. My favorite band is definitely Cage the Elephant, I love to listen to their songs to put me in a good mood.

Style Icon…
My style icons would be Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato. I love how classy Taylor is and the edginess of Demi.
