But I’d say Drake is that artist for me right now. I feel he is the most relatable. The coolest thing I can say that has happened is the fact that I posted some clips on Instagram with #ovosound under it and a few pertaining to his labels plus many new fans from Toronto Canada discovered me and left comments. GETTING TO KNOW MIC JAY

Honestly I don’t listen to music rap although I do my hip hop thing.
But I’d say drake is that artist for me right now. I feel he is the most relatable. The coolest thing I can say that has happened is the fact that I posted some clips on Instagram with #ovosound under it and a few pertaining to his labels plus many new fans from Toronto Canada discovered me and left comments. That was pretty cool.
Sadly, I’ve never been to a concert.
I used to work hard at being trendy and ahead of my peers with clothing,
then I found out when I simplified was when I got what I wanted. Because most people wore all the same brands it was hard to out do the next person. The most important thing is how you feel and carry yourself. Once you can find that you will find growth and maturity in your art. This has been my recent transition in 2016.
My personal definition of success is this…
It doesn’t matter what you do in life just make sure you do it enough to do everything you first of all need then want in life. Facts are that we have to make money. People just need to work smart. My EP right now you will here me talking a lot about working hard etc. That’s because in order to be where I feel comfortable I literally work more than a 9-5. I average up to 116 hours of work per week for Securitas USA. It sounds harder than you would think. I just make sure I work at least 13 hours everyday. I’m far from rich at this point but I’m very comfortable. I’m not hustling and selling drugs to buy beats and pay for studio time because I need my weekly paychecks to take care of bills. I’m happy to be just me exploring life and making music at the same time to share my experiences.
The first single “Right Now” does not have much of a story behind it.
It’s definitely one of my most recent favorite songs. It’s really all about my work ethic vs others from my perspective. I was simply looking for a hit record! The single “Selfish Love” however, has a more appealing and hopefully relatable to most story behind it. I’m really speaking to an old crush of mine. In my book our story never ended at it’s peak, and I found myself thinking about that moment in time and this song was the outlet. It’s is actually a very personal track. When she hears it she will know and recognize many moments in these words. I captured our history. I don’t think I would ever get back with her but to make this song and think about it can be fun some times.
Boston
I stay in Boston currently. The music scene out here is pretty much non existent. Not to say the city is not filled with talent and independent work all over, but rather not much of an entertainment city like NY or ATL. Out here is mostly for the working man and students.
There are many fun times out here as far as spending them at clubs, bars and many other attractive venues. However, the night life ends at 2AM out here. If you’re into making money this is the place to be though.
I like social media…
because I am able to project myself and receive feedback from others. As far as obstacles go, I been flying through them lately best I can with astonishing results. My energy is up right now. I feel great! I overcame much that is no longer worth mentioning. I learned time and time again, and now I am convinced that with hard work and saying yes to life everyday vs being picky puts you in an abundant flow of positive energy where you produce, live, project and enjoy life at it’s finest fit for you.
