Success is a hard thing to define…
It’s hard to realize it when it happens as well. My approach for success is to outline now what I want to accomplish in the future. One success story that I have would be hitting 50,000 subscribers on YouTube. It’s a great success because I have genuine supporters who want to listen to my music. I achieved it by posting some covers that have gained some recognition online.

My over all goal for my life & career is…
I aspire to be an icon in music. I want to tour all around the world because my music. I want to sell out amphitheaters all over the world, wake up in a new city every day, and perform at night to thousands of fans who know every lyric to my every song.

3 Ways that I challenge myself…
1) I seem to deviate from the traditional route a 19 year old would be taking right now. Most kids my age are in their freshman year of college working towards their career, I however am creating content everyday in my room.

2) I learn music that was made before me. I get influenced by multiple musicians/bands from multiple decades.

3) I don’t settle until I’m content. It’s very hard for me to become completely content with my music. There’s a lot of revision to try to make the best content I can.

Music business…
It’s a very tough to navigate your way through the industry.

Pros: Most of the work isn’t necessarily work to me.

Cons: Success doesn’t happen overnight.

Over coming the hurdles and pitfalls…
Keep going of course. Learn what works, shy away from what doesn’t.

Social media…
is a great tool to build your music career. A very very power tool, that when used correctly, can be very beneficial. It’s a slow process at first. Just have to stick out the preliminary stages.

Singles vs an album…
I only know how it feels to release a single. I’d like to release an album so people can get a clear indicator of who I am as an artist. With a single, it can be misleading to just what type of artist you are. With a collection of songs, you can clearly get a sense of the intended sound, which can be marketed based off of the genre.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with….
Jimmy Page. However, I would extend that 5 minutes into hours. Led Zeppelin put out some of the most influential and extraordinary music of all time in my opinion. Jimmy Page’s musical craft has really influenced me to become a better musician and create better content. Plus I would love to hear Jimmy reminisce about his experiences through which music took him.

Being current and trendy…
definitely doesn’t hurt. However, I was never one to follow the trends of everyone else. I like to go against the grain a little bit, while still staying relevant to what’s current.

I am most afraid of… let’s just say I’m not very fond of spiders.

I got started in music…

due to the fact that I was constantly surrounded by music as a kid. I was the youngest of three children in my family, and both of my siblings played music. I felt as if I was the odd one out and had a compulsive desire to learn how to play guitar.

All For You
There wasn’t a true solid inspiration behind the song. I wrote this in the perspective of one end of a relationship who’s trying to get the others attention. It was written in my bedroom, as well as other songs that I had posted a rough version online. I entered a songwriting contest and just so happened to win it. After winning, Songbuilder Studios in Maryland gave me the opportunity to record the single at no cost.

From the time I released my single “All For You” to the current time…
I have definitely altered my music style a bit. I have taken a very strong liking to Rock music and have been heavily influenced by it. I hope to bring back a modern version of rock with the album.

I live in upstate New York…
just outside the city of Albany. The music scene isn’t too great, but still fun to gig out here and there. Since I can practically travel 30 minutes in any direction and hit a mountain range, I love to go hiking in the neighboring mountains. In my free time I like to skateboard, although I’m not the best at it.
