is great in the sense that the fans can get a more intimate sense of you! I am using Grammy Amplifier because I am a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, I have been going to different red carpet events in NYC. I mean when you are seen and heard is the best but social media red carpets and indie radio play has really helped me. Always being seen and heard.
I started playing piano when I was seven …
and started playing because I tried to drive the car to the neighbors house when I was that age and parents put me in something constructive. My piano teacher Beverly Tackett was the one that discovered that I could sing and launched from there.
Music business…
The business has changes all the time! You have to change with it. Everything from technology to rules of the business. As most people know that artist make their money on live shows and social media following so that Is what you work on. It is crazy but true.
Pros and cons…
Unlike that acting and modeling world there is not a place for everyone in the music industry you can be an indie artist and people love or major artist and people love .
Over coming the hurdles and pitfalls…
The hurdles are funding albums videos and going on the road to really promote. No matter how many social outlets you have that is hard. Social media makes easier for your fans to get to you but still have to look for every little opportunity
Singles vs an album…
I think that the single is the interlude to the album. When you give that single first it gives fan the chance to want more from you as an artist!! Give them a taste of what is will happen next.

While making “Something You Need” I was dancing and making everyone laugh, I have always been the comedian and it comes naturally.
I want my music to be something that people can relate too!
I listen to music that I can relate to and that is fun to listen too. That is what I expect we all want the ultimate goal of being at the top but at this time that is what I expect. This is an album that is a little more about me!! I have been able to make more of the decisions on it! Working with great producers writers, writing myself and arrangers in New York City. It is a project I learned a lot about myself.

and the Music Scene is really Everywhere! It depends on your mood and what you want to listen too. I am a singer actor and plus sized model. I have the time of my life doing my life’s work. Acting is fun in a since because you can step outside of yourself and be someone else.

This is a tough question I have met a lot of the people that I have wanted to spend 5 minutes alone with everyone from Robert Di Niro to Reba McEntire.
Emphasis on being current and trendy…
I do feel you should go with the flow of the main stream but ad your own twist. I think that each artist has something to ad to the fabric of what we listen too! I take what I like to listen too and what is in my head and mix it up lol!!!!
I am not afraid of too much….
The worst that someone can say to you is no and once again that is a challenge for me to better myself. I don’t let fear get to me cause I have a lot of faith. I know that is a crazy answer.
My personal definition of success is..
Perseverance. I have always believed the word “No” is a learning curve you have to pick up and always go back at it!!! Success is learning from your mistakes and never losing your focus no matter what is going on around you.
I am proud of …
many of my accomplishments. My recent accomplishments is my Academia Award last month for the current single” Something You Need”. I just made People magazine for an ad that I did for the “New Yorker”. My work on Orange is the New Black. That show has given me a lot of exposure and has been a great family for me to work for and with. All the accomplishments are diverse. The acting and modeling things came to me by chance and Music has always been my first love.
My over all goal for my life & career is…
Amazing!!! I have done everything from television to doing Shakespeare in London to walking New York Fashion Week to appearing in People Magazine in Ads for the New Yorker. My career has been so diverse and amazing!!
