It’s in the genes…
My dad was a song writer/producer, so I guess you could say, “It’s in my genes”!

Ten Hutt Tha Movement…
It’s about police brutality on minorities and it was written because of all the media coverage on our black people and the fact that it’s been going on for as long as I’ve been alive! Ten Hutt Tha Movement was inspired by the events in Ferguson, Madison, and Baltimore, South Carolina and most recently, McKinney, TX! ( iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/ten-hutt-tha-movement-single/id1006159567 )

I live in St. Paul, MN…
but was raised on the Northside of Minneapolis! The music scene? We got Prince! But for real, the music scene is kinda dull, but there is good talent here! The places to go would be, First Ave and the 7th Street Entry, The Minnesota Music Cafe, The Fine Line and the Myth! One fun thing…going to the studio to lay down some tracks!

Social media…Lloyd Rhoden indie music
It’s much easier to communicate with our fans than it was in the past! Challenges? Not everyone responds when you want them to!

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with….
Tu Pac/Makaveli; to pick his brain and to do a track with him! I can relate to his music and his lyrics and he’s one of the realest rappers I’ve ever heard; and it’s sad that he’s gone!

Do you feel pressure to follow trends with your music…
Yes! Because I feel like everyone should have their own style and not sound like the next person! I do have a balance that I find helpful in my own artistic decisions along with the other members of my group(s)!

I continue to challenge myself by…
Trying to keep a balance between my personal life and my business/music life…being in the studio, writing lyrics, producing music, etc…

What are you most afraid of…
Failing my entire family, may it be my immediate family, out-of-state family and even my music family!

What is your personal definition of success…
Recognition of my talent and being recognized as a musician/rapper/producer!
