GETTING TO KNOW SAVING ATHENS

It’s challenging to get your foot in the door,
but we want to get a record deal so we can tour and share our music around the world.
The pros are having a blast playing live,
recording is always a good experience, and making new friends because of our music. The cons are that some people are heartless, not willing to give you a shot.
We never give up,
always look for the brighter side of things, and keeping an open mind.
Kenny- I would love to have 5 minutes alone with All Time Low
because they inspired me to write.
Nick- Angus Young so I can learn his playing style and how he finds the energy
to play the way he does.
Clay- John Bonham because he is arguably the greatest drummer ever
and his style is revolutionary to the rock genre.
Tom- Synyster Gates because he was an inspiration to me
when I started playing guitar and made me realize that I want to play music the rest of my life.
We all started playing music at a young age and have similar interest in music.
We also love sharing our music with people, and the stories behind the music.
Misery
Misery is about when somebody is at the lowest point of their life,
and being able to put a smile on your face and just push through the difficult time you are going through. Ignoring all the bad in your life and finding the good.
Every song has a story behind it and you can paint a picture
in your mind of what we were going through when we wrote the lyrics/music for the songs. Our music is very energetic which is good for playing live. We as a band feed off of the crowd energy when we play.
We are from Brewster NY (Putnam County).
There is a lot of talent in the area but no one is pushing hard enough to follow their dreams, like we are. Go to PJ’s Bar and Restaurant, they are a rock n roll bar that has live bands including us!
