I love the music business!
I’ve listened to music my whole life. So far I’ve had a great experience in the music industry since debuting my single “Irrevocable” this past August which is nice.
I would say the biggest ‘con’ to the music industry is that it is extremely competitive!!
There are so many amazing artists out there all shooting for the same goal and hoping to catch their big break!
If my music can touch and encourage even just one soul,
and inspire them in their life, that would be a major ‘pro’ for me and would make all the challenges worth it!
Natalie Grant. She is an amazing Christian singer/songwriter
who writes music that inspires and encourages me. Her music reaches beyond Christian radio and touches lives. That’s what I want my music to do.
Irrevocable
The song “Irrevocable” is very special to me
and was written in awe of God’s perfect love for us. God never gives up on us! It doesn’t matter who you are, what you have done or how many times you have messed up, God’s patient love is precious, kind, and always there for you. God bestows unique and specific gifts upon each of us in order to glorify His kingdom, and not only do these gifts become a part of who we are, they are directly tied to our purpose in life. In Romans 11:29, we are told of God’s promise that “the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable”, so while we attempt to discover what our gifts are and figure out what to do with them, God will be patiently waiting on us with a love that is steadfast and Irrevocable!
You can definitely expect to hear about bits
and pieces of my life while listening to my music. Not only do I like to write songs that encourage you to love who you are, but I also like to write about the struggles I experience in my Christian walk and hope that in doing so, I am reassuring anyone else out there who might be experiencing something similar that they are not alone.
My new EP debuts this summer 2017 and I am so excited about my new songs!
I have been truly blessed to be given an opportunity to collaborate with a talented group of co-writers at the Sarah Kelly School of Music and I can’t wait to deliver some amazing songs to my fans!
I live in Houston, TX, and the music scene here is diverse
and there is never a shortage of exciting artists to see! We have small venues, such as The House of Blues, Renovation Music Center, or Dosey Doe’s, where you can watch all different types of artists, including those who might not be as mainstream; or you can go and see the bigger names in music at one of our larger venues, such as the Woodland’s Pavilion or the Toyota Center.
