I-D: THE FUTURE IN FASHION

Watching this video I find myself realizing that our generation, the millennials, are not only living in the rise of technology but of fashion as well. I-D shows us how the future of fashion will be found in 3D printing which is already starting to catch on. Once this method of clothes making is perfected it will forever change the way consumers and designers think of fashion. No longer will there be sizing because we will all have customized fits. Someday we will finally be able to print out an outfit at home!
And although that idea is something just about everyone has dreamed of, I really hope the natural experience of brick and mortar shopping doesn’t die with it. To me, nothing beats a day wandering around the city and window shopping, no matter how convenient online shopping has become.
