We really just wanted to have fun with the EP and deliver something that had a good old hard rock edge to it. You can definitely hear our influences from bands in the Nu Metal era but with a more modern, current feel.

We were also really happy with the way Square One turned out. It has some serious groove to it but still keeps that wholesome alternative rock feel. It’s the one kind of “stand out” track that differs from the rest of the EP.

Break Away…
So we decided to write Break Away for those struggling with negativity in their life. Everybody deals with negative influences on one level or another and it helps to be reminded that you’re not alone. Whether it’s a friend or family member that pulls you down, drugs, sex or anything else, we can all beat our inner demons. We really liked how the music video conveyed the message in the end. Definitely take the time to watch the story line in the video for the reveal!

The follow-up single to our EP was “R.E.D.”, which again shows another side to our music. It’s faster paced and has that upbeat “you can tackle anything” kind of mentality. Definitely a song to listen to if you want to get pumped and take on the world.

Philadelphia…
We’re all from around Philadelphia. Either in the city or north of it in the Bucks County area. There’s a lot to do all over the city but right now a lot of the action is in the Fish Town / Northern Liberties areas. There are a ton of great concert venues, bars, restaurants, comedy clubs, and way more. Pretty much whatever you want to do you can do it there and have a fun night.

Inspired…
Uhm, I’d say you really better love writing and playing music if you want to actually try to succeed in this industry. It’s not for the weak. The one main perk though is how much fun it can be meet other musicians, see new places, learn new tips and tricks, and really perfect your craft. But again, if you’re used to having things handed to you, trying to make it in the music industry might not be a good idea. Haha.
