Music Business…
In Italy, there’s no respect for musicians: if you’re asked “what is your job” and you claim “musician”, the next questions are always “I mean your REAL job”. This happens because in the above scenario it’s impossible to pay the bills playing covers…. for not to talk about doing your own music. Luckily, we live in an open world, where the internet has broken all the barriers, and it may happen that a previously unknown band can have a chance to make the difference, like it happened to us.
Alessandro Lapini : I feel the music industry is in crisis. CD’s no longer sell and no longer is the ability to perform the key to success. It has become more of a popularity contest than anything else.
I would love to meet…
Alessandro is a fantastic conversationalist, intelligent, engaging and a quite a philosopher. He sprinkles his conversation with Italian proverbs which leaves the listener in awe and contemplating every word that Alessandro has spoken. When asked who, he would like five minutes alone Alessandro said succinctly “an alien”. Actually, it would be better served to spend five minutes in Alessandro’s presence. The listener would come away a greater more thoughtful human being.
The Music…
Michele Trillini : Music is something very important for the life of all people. I hope our music touches the emotions of a lot of people. Music allows us to remember our nice memories and is the soundtrack of our life. A film, without a soundtrack, is not a good film! I do not like to consider music as an ideology, custom or a tradition.
In my Dreams…
Daniele Bianchelli: “In My Dreams” is a song about emotions in a special period of my life, the most important love story I’ve ever had, born when I was 39 and no hopes to find “the one’. I used to dream about my girlfriend, and it still happens to me. I think that songs are made to bring all sort of life emotions, both bad and, as in this song, beautiful. Each time I sing these songs I have the chance to live again those feelings, even amplified if they’re still a part of my life, or with a bit of melancholy and nostalgia if they’re not. I think that “In My Dreams” is the best gift I’ve ever made to a girl.
