Because I am the type of person to always be pushing for better and better, I don’t think I will ever reach a point of so called “success,” but I know I will keep pushing myself and my band to get as close to “success” as possible.

Success to me is…
defined by the ability to be satisfied with your current state. Because I am the type of person to always be pushing for better and better, I don’t think I will ever reach a point of so called “success,” but I know I will keep pushing myself and my band to get as close to “success” as possible.
Rock isn’t a popular genre today so we find it difficult to get interest from labels with qualified offerings. The bad deals are still out there and bands have to be really careful to read the fine print.
Most of the deals we have been presented haven’t been “sign your life away” kind of “Opportunities” that we would never consider because as independent artists it just doesn’t make sense to give up all your rights and royalties just to get people to work with you. We’ve been doing things organically for a few years and we have achieve small successes that make up that bigger picture for the band.
One upcoming event that’s a perfect example is opening up for Jefferson Starship. We are super excited to be performing with them. It’s moments like this that really add up to creating a much larger impact.
I live in…
Los Angeles and the music scene is very prominent and booming, but it is focused on E.D.M and pop. For a rock band it can be pretty tough, but there is a large underground alternative/rock movement that we are starting to tap into.
What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking?
Dave Grohl once told me that music is it’s own reward and that has completely shifted my perspective and my goals because the realization of this ultimate musical truth to focus more on the music and hold that as a priority over other factors in making decisions.
By making it a priority to practice more often
Song name: Look To The Sky
Music Genre:: Rock
A man who has lived a long life full of ups and downs, and yet knows there is still a future ahead of him. This man has eventually become a “lone Wanderer” of sorts drifting from pace to place, learning from life along the way. He doesn’t know what’s next, and doesn’t care, just trusting in the wisdom he’s gained from his experiences and using it to survive whatever comes next.
A blend between classic rock and our own new twist we put on it. Has tones of rock bands like Led Zeppelin with a little blues rock mixed in from bands like Lynyrd Skynrd and then from there it’s just our own organic sound that we have created. We like to call it New Classic Rock.
