The music business is exciting and hard all at the same time.

The pros have to be that people are really responding well to my music…
they seem to really like it. The cons have to be it’s so hard to get started in this business! There’s so much competition and talent. But I feel like there’s room for all of us.

Just keep moving forward no matter what happens.
This has always been my passion and if you’re doing what you love you learn to do the best you can do and not let the bad things get you down.

Carrie Underwood…I feel like I can relate to her.
And I love her music! (Who doesn’t!) she just seems like a genuinely nice person. She really inspires me because she doesn’t seem to feel like she’s above anyone else. She just seems like she’s who she is and doing what she loves. That’s how I want to be.

When I was little, me and my cousins would put on shows for the family.
That’s how I found out I loved to sing.

Skin is about not letting things bother you.
People are going to talk and unless it’s true just don’t listen to them. When I heard skin it reminded me of myself so I knew I had to record it.

My album is just fun!
It has upbeat music and I think people can really relate to most of the lyrics. Because we’ve all been in these situations.

I live in a small town, Milan Indiana.
There’s really no music scene. But we do have a lot of fairs and festivals around us that has some great music!
