I have a strong desire to help people…
find the best version of themselves. I’m blessed to have found an amazing platform with my business colleague Cat Medley to merge music and body transformation together called Music N’ Motion. Together Cat Medley and I have found a way to bring musicians and body transformation specialist together to share stories of change from real life musicians and share realistic ways of achieving your goals from professionals in your individual cities.

What are the top 3 things a new fan should know about your music brand…
1) I’ve lived all of my songs. They are about me however my life mirrors many others.
2) I like to help people through my music.
3) Unique sultry alto voice which can transcend style from bluesy, torched to lively with deeps roots in soul.

Name three things every new music artist should know coming into this industry.
1) Practice every day.
2) Stay true to your uniqueness no matter what.
3) Get out and network.

What is one thing you wish you had done differently from the start in your music career or marketing of your brand…
Face the fear and do it anyway and don’t let anyone tell you “you can’t do it”. Even with the unspoken judgement just do it.

At this point in your career, what do you feel is the single most important thing to be noted for…
My music is about change and I stand behind it 111%

Favorite social media page…
Facebook and Reverbnation are the two I find I post the most.

What’s Ahead for you this Spring…
Many gigs and the most important is launching Music N’ Motion soon.

Soul Shine Pizza is…
a popular pizza place off Music Row in Nashville, Tn. that is a great music venue for alternative, indie, blues music. Many musicians love to hang out there and the owner is a wonderful musician himself. We thought we would right a song about our experience at the Pizza restaurant.

We had a blast recording this single with some extraordinary musicians such as the iconic Leland Sklar, Johnny Neel, Dan Hagan, and Robert Harson and some great background vocalist Jason Eskridge, background singer for the Zac Brown Band, and Nicki Conley, background singer for Donna Summer. All in all, I had all star team that made the experience of recording remarkable and lots of fun. We recorded at Ocean Way on Music Row.

BIO:
In 2008 Cat headed to Los Angeles to record her first album. She teamed up with some of music industry’s finest top musicians: Leland ‘Lee’ Sklar, Dean Parks, Herman Matthews and Ned Albright. Together they created true art, a beautiful moving and tremendously honest album called “Love Me Out Loud.”

The spirit of the album has been described as “warm and strong.” Her lyrics carry a personal message of her “struggles and her surrender.” And like any true great artist, her music evokes a classic soulfulness that transcends genre and generation.
She is a mentor for children – with a passion to share knowledge and help those who would not otherwise have the opportunity.
“Love Me Out Loud” is filled with penetratingly honest ballads, and classic rhythms that can only be described as magical and authentic.
After living in Nashville, Tennessee for the past five years, Cat and her band are now working on her latest project ‘The Voice of Change”…Their newest release ‘Soul Shine Pizza’ celebrates the new forward moving energy in her life. She’ll often be heard singin’ “kick up your heels and dance on that table!”
It has been Cat’s life work to help people transition and go through changes knowing they are not alone. She has been a voice of inspiration through the honesty in her own journey – coaching, music and motivational speaking.
After a difficult bout with panic disorder years ago, along with an inability to perform during those dark days, Cat has fought back through the trenches to perform on major stages from Miami to Music City. She openly shares her journey and overcoming those obstacles with those around her and on stage. She has finally brought her three passions of music, mentoring and fitness together under one roof with a great message of overcoming. She and her colleague, Catherine ‘Cat’ Medley, from ‘Cats on a Mission’ will begin the “Music ‘n Motion’ seminar series tour in 2017 Nashville, TN.
It’s a full day of life altering stories of change from musicians and artists uniquely local to Nashville. Cat has spent the latter part of 15 years, coaching men and women to find the best version of themselves.
2016 brings completion of her 2nd EP ‘Win’ which will be highlighted by Cat and her band in the seminar series ‘Music ‘n Motion’.
