What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking?
Get in tune, ha ha ! I mean not only the instruments, but more importantly with the audience. More seriously: Play your own thing, follow your own vision and don’t try to please anybody. Build and follow your path, your own identity and atmosphere and leave a unique impression that can last for days or weeks (or maybe more ?)

On The Stage…
The most important thing I focus on when I play live is the audience experience. I talk to them and work at engaging my audience during the shows. I’ve always had a good level of confidence and that makes it easy to give my best to the crowd. When your abilities are practiced over time, you feel much more at ease on stage. That allows you to just relax and have fun on stage with the audience. That feeling extends into your audience.

How do you feel social media adds to your connection with your audience?
In my local area live presence is much more important because we are small but social media allows me to get my music in front of a wider audience all over the world.

What have been the hurdles so far that you have experienced?
My biggest hurdles has been music management. It’s difficult to find someone who isn’t sensitive and clashing happens among the musicians in the band on occasion. I think I’m getting much better over time. In any business you need to learn to work with people. Music can be a touchy situation but keeping an open mind.

A guy who is dumbfounded by a hot and sexy girl. The music video, which is really a short film, is set in a Cow-Boy Saloon and the “Hot Legs” Lady uses her charms to rip off the Cow-Boys playing poker there. There’s a funny twist at the end…

My music is…
 Based on the Blues but transcended with fun and energy. Everything in King Biscuit Time has got to be taken with a good sense of humor and a fair dose of self-mockery.

Video…
The video was filmed at night after hours at the restaurant from midnight to early into the morning hours. It’s not an easy job so it’s important to be well organized and plan everything. I’ve actually been invited to act in another short film as a bartender from this music video.
