Person Interviewing: Melissa Wolfe

I live in Manchester NH spending lots of time working, a ton of the day away from music. Aside from METAL , I am an alternative model and Founder of a Halo based gaming community ICG ( immaculate connection gaming), helping and hosting our roster. Taking pictures, video , streaming alot and …of course …I have metal.

Influences..
I grew up on the seacoast in NH were my dad had a rock and roll band of his own. As a child, I use to watch them practice in our basement  on Baker road. The band, was called…. well.. Baker road. I was born into rock and pop but by the time I was a teenager I was headed strait for heavier music. I guess in the end , William ( savant) , meeting him as a young adult and gaining some experience designing my imagination , theory and performance arts. The combination of My dad and savant and a hand full of female rock heros make up my influence.

When did you know that this was the right path for you?
I’m a sucker for attention and compliments but really shy in real life. It’s easier for me to communicate through music or talk about music in general. It’s a “comfy” place for most neutrals. The best way to for me to connect with people on this planet is through this art form. On stage, I get to shed my shy girl skin for a sharper, more sophisticated me.

What do you like most about what you do?
Hahaha I get alot of attention and fans and fan merch!! I get sent all kinds of crazy gifts. lol NO, but, to be very honest this question is one of those were I’m suppose to mention world piece but, being upfront the reaction from crowds and fans are a huge enjoyment for me. It’s a little bit selfish for me but I give it right back.

What do you most hope to accomplish with your influence?
If I can’t have world peace, I can get people together, dance, put the world on pause and release some energy with me. People who come to see us are more part of the show then we can ever be. It’s a healthy re-enforcement.

What is the biggest obstacle you have faced in your career, and how did you overcome it?
Really as much fun as we’re having now, and more then ever, we know taking bigger steps means a bigger responsibility for the band and for my self. We want to be realistic and work at a competitive pace while having a great time and making friends. Our challenge is setting and completing high standard goals. I won’t cry indie, I’ll just work harder.

What do you want people to remember most about you and your career?
That I made honest, fun and memorable music. That our band reached people in a personal timeless way.

What are you most looking forward to this next month?
We are heavy right now getting ready for 2019 booking details and finishing the ep “BADDBLOOD” april 2019.
Because of the long wait , we will be gradually making our album versions avail for streaming as singles in the hand full of coming weeks.

Song name: “FAIR TO SAY”
Music Genre:: HARDROCK/METAL

This song is about…
Having fun breaking up with people. Sepsiss tends to write mostly about relationship and fantasy themes. We love dancey beats, memorable themes and smart note choices . We try to get the most out of balancing honest art , pop appeal , and performance stable metal. Melissa sings clean vocals over driving guitars , shiny keyboards and melody themes . Breakdowns tend to kiss you on the cheek here and there w/ traditional harsher tones. heavy. pretty…..pretty heavy.
