Pawleys Island, SC…
a beach town with a relaxed feel inspiring the songs I write coupled with inspiration of growing up in the country. I like to go Surf fishing in the creek and on the beach here on the island.

Being based out of South Carolina my sound is…
a gritty, acoustic country rock blend with a unique edge. I grew up in Pawley Island, SC where I had the best of both worlds- the beach and the country. I think my music is a reflection of the carefree style that many are drawn to. It’s country. It’s rock. It’s edgy. It’s Shawn Bilton. It’s a new sound in country music. I expect the fans will relate and will feel as if they are in the song, part of the song where Country and Rock collide. My music can be heard on Pandora, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play Music, ITunes, Reverbnation, YouTube, and soon on SiriusXM The Highway. My team is promoting and marketing to stations across the nation and ML Nashville is handing promotions. Currently I am booked at some of finest venues in Myrtle Beach, SC for the summer. I just opened for John Rich recently at The Boathouse in Myrtle Beach and I am in the running to open for Florida Georgia Line at the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach this summer. I have a great team and we work together to make it happen. That’s what it is all about and we are driven to get this out there for the fans.

My inspiration came from several country singer…
: Johnny Cash, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Darius Rucker, and Jason Aldean

This Dirt Road…
is about someone going through something in their lives. Here in the country, it’s where things are thought out and decisions are made. This Dirt Road is the song that brought my music to life. I was contacted by a multi-platinum Nashville producer…
who heard my music online and wanted to record my songs and create an album that truly captured who I was as an artist.

Hurdles and pitfalls…
I work at it day in and day out with my team to ensure we are doing all we can to promote the music.

Social media…
I like the idea of reaching millions of people with the click of a button. It expands my audience exponentially.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with…
Kenny Chesney is who I would like to have my 5 minutes with. Not only has he helped to reinvent country music, but his music from day one has impacted my life.

My personal definition of success is…
Success to me, is being able to get up every day and support myself and my family doing what I love, what more could you ask for than that.
