My Grand Dad played with “Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys in Houston,Texas before WW Two.That Red Dirt and musical skill lived in my DNA,Until my 1st year of High School in The San Francisco Bay Area.In 1967 ,My School Chum,Charlie Baty and I had a Blues Band,quite poplar in our teenage world. Little Charlie is now a World Class “Jump Blues Guitarist.
How do you feel about the Music Business…

did have quite an impact on me during the 70’s, Disco and funk had changed my total understanding of the bass guitar, Larry Graham, Chuck Rainey, James Jamerson, Bob Glaub, and Leland Skilare. As of late Great Songs have the Great vocals and clever arraignments Adele and Bruno Mars have laid it down for all to hear.

“Hate To Keep You Waiting”…
An observation for those who have lost a close friend and or Loved One. As I was at The beginning of my 3rd Act in The Biz,I had 9 friends pass over to the other side. My Throat Cancer had just raised Its Brazen Head. So My Faith in The Lord went to full boogie. We had no insurance and It was a dark time,A lamp unto my feet carried me through and this song was one of many that were begotten when I received the ability to speak and sing once again. A grateful sonnet for the survival of the remaining musical travelers of my generation.
This a very special musical work from 2 old friends, Norman Collins and Myself. (Randall McGowan) Almost 40 years working the musical fields of The San Francisco Bay Area. We are sure that we have cornered the market on sounding like ourselves. We wanted to have a Record that could be performed live. A 1st for me to sing, write ,and play keys on my own record. A major blessing is my 48 years of recording and writing. The Marketing is just beginning for “The Swinging Chads” A new video is possible in November.

above the Napa area, My Wife; Lori and I have lived here 15 years. Many opportunities to play music in this vacation land resort . Five casinos, Lots of concert, festivals, eatery gigs, good radio. We love to take our boat or a spin with our Grand kids. I still have the same agent in Reno,We are in Nevada performing at The Atlantis Hotel and Casino for my Birthday weekend October 30 to November 1st.
