When you believe in yourself and you are happy where you are in life, and you can keep your eye on your goal.

WHAT’S AHEAD…
I will get my album finished and release it. Hoping my songs will hit home with people and they’ll want more music.
I’ve been collaborating with other songwriters and singers on Reverbnation. I’m really looking forward to seeing where these songs land. Eventually, my husband and I are looking forward to moving to Nashville, where I can be surrounded with singer/songwriters and amazing musicians.

CURRENTLY…
I am currently working on my first album. It is about my life as a single Mom after I got out of a bad marriage and finding happiness with my current husband after moving to Colorado.

LIFE IN COLORADO…
I live in Denver, CO where there are many places to go for Country music. We have the notorious Grizzly Rose, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, The Buffalo Rose (in Golden, CO), The Stampede and the Little Bear where Willie Nelson will show up and play. I love going to sing the National Anthem at the Colorado National Speedway and being able to watch the races afterward. I’m into Nascar and my driver is Dale Earnhardt Jr.

TODAY’S COUNTRY…
Today’s Country Music is more of a mix of Country, Pop, Rock and now even Rap. The thing that stays the same though is a story is being told. I like different genres of music. If it has a good beat and a great sound, I like it.

 

BIO:
When Wendy Ann was a little girl, her dad asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up. She said “A Rock Star or a Model”. As she grew, she listened to all types of music and fell in love with singing Country music. She was able to relate to them and found comfort in them. A few years back she wanted to learn to play guitar so she could start writing songs. So she got her acrylic nails removed and learned guitar, enough to back herself up.
Wendy Ann was born in Homer, Alaska and has lived in California, Nevada, Nebraska and now Colorado. She is a mail carrier in Arvada, CO and has been there for 15 yrs now. She never thought she would be there that long, always keeping her eye on her dream of singing Country Music. There have been a few detours and speed bumps along the way, but she is finally on the right path now.
